I have a question to ask: Why are all the Disney kids getting all up and about these purity rings? I haven’t even heard of a purity ring until the Jonai and all these Disney stars started speaking about it. Do any of you own purity rings.. and actually have had a purity ring before it became ‘in’ just because the JoBros, Miley, Demi, Selena, etc etc etc started sporting them?
Cause gee, I remembered that it was ‘cool’ to get laid all the time and become a serious slut or whore.. what has happened to teenage society? I’m not promoting you guys to just jump on someone and go at it (please don’t!), I’m just wondering how this all happened. DON’T HAVE SEX, GUYS. This is just a question.
Selena Gomez is one of the really famous chicks of Disney who wears a purity ring. Her purity ring is worn on her left ring/fourth finger, and is just a simple silver band with the three words ingraved in it: “True Love Awaits”.
Sure, the words seem like nothing.. but when you’re required to put some thought into it, you realize that it means so much more than “True Love Awaits”.
So basically, the ring is making you dedicate your all to say no to sex when it’s not the right time. The right time is when you’re married with ‘the one’ you believe you’re going to be with for the rest of your life. That’s when you can give it away because you’ve already reached your happy ending. So, is “True Love Awaits” something real.. or just a game of a lot teasing and saying no?
Who knows.. but all I know is that Selena is dedicated to keep her promise to God, as well as herself.
Let’s get into Sel’s personal life a little: Mandy Teefey, Selena Gomez’s mom, became pregnant with Selena just at the young age of fifteen years old.. barely even old enough to know how to raise herself. And when she turned twenty, she split from her dad, Ricardo Joel Gomez.
Because of this story, the message on the ring carries so much more significance than just a glance at a saying you think means nothing. The three words mean so much to sixteen year old, Selena, who stars in her own show, “Wizards of Waverly Place”.
“I’m going to keep my promise to myself, my family and God,” says Selena, the rumored girlfriend of teen sensation, Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.
An insider adds: “Selena’s very level-headed, and she’s taken her mom’s life lessons into account. I don’t think Mandy has anything to worry about.”
This took me a long time to write out.. and I’m still trying to figure it out. I know it seems like such an easy thing to understand, but when you put some heart into it.. you really don’t know what you’re actually putting your thoughts into.
So Selena.. if you ever come across this, I’ve got a whole lot of respect for you.

So.. seems like Drew Barrymore can move on easily after long-term relationships have gone down the drain, because she was seen sucking-face with someone who WAS NOT Justin Long.

By now, all of you should probably have heard that Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick were totally macking each other last night during the song “Sex on Fire” at the Kings of Leon concert in Manhattan (WHERE THE FUCK WAS I?!).
You know how celebrities don’t like PDA infront of cameras, so they try to sneak little kisses around? Well.. these two think the opposite because they were completely and utterly making out.. in the open, with everyone watching.
Wow.. aren’t they just the most inconspicuous hook-upers ever?! Seems like they need some private relationship lessons from the Jonas Brothers.
ahahah Do you think they make a good couple? idkk.. I think Ed Westwick is HOT, but I wouldn’t be down with a girlfriend who’s older than you by twelve years. NOW, that’s kinda awkward.

We all love and hate her from “Gossip Girl” when she plays Blair Waldorf. But in real life, Leighton Meester is a sweetheart who had to grow up with some bumpy roads and had to learn how to breakthrough the tough times.
Let’s see what “US Weekly” has to say about Leighton’s story:
Leighton Meester’s upbringing was nothing like that of her “Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf: the actress was born to a mother who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for smuggling marijuana.
As Us Weekly reports in its latest issue, on newsstands now, her mom Connie was pregnant with Leighton when she entered federal prison in Texas. At 29, she gave birth while she was just beginning her sentence following a conviction for her involvement with a drug ring that smuggled 1,200-pound shipments of marijuana into the United States from Jamaica. Her father, Doug, also served time for being part of the smuggling operation. Today, Doug works in construction and Connie is a screenwriter.
“Anything that her mother and I did that was questionable occurred before she was born,” Doug, who split from Connie in 1992, tells Us.
Meester’s rough start gives her perspective today.
“It makes me very nonjudgmental and open-minded,” the 22-year-old tells Us. “And I think it just makes me appreciate the things that I have now.”
Gossip Girl director Michael Fields tells Us: “She’s talked about it a little bit. She’s not a person who is trying to hide it.”
Now, Meester and her mom – who was released in 1986 after serving only 16 months – have a solid relationship.
“She’s always there for me no matter what,” Meester tells Us. “I swear, that woman knows everything.”
Connie returns the affection. “She’s very gifted, she’s very talented, she’s very intelligent,” the 51-year-old tells Us. “I love her dearly.”

All-grown-up, Shenae Grimes, rocks the walk to the parking lot while lighting up a cigarette and carrying “Trader Joe’s” grocery bags.
I don’t think the girl bought food though because her bags were filled with packs and packs of cigarettes and who knows what else.
Definitely not food because the girls from the new 90210 are considered to have eating disorders.. which I don’t think is true because some girls are naturally thin.
From little purity-ring Darcy from Degrassi, to bad-girl Annie.. Shanae has gone through some serious changes.
I never expected this.. but expect the unexpected at all times.
Shenae Grimes looked super hot in a black minidress teamed up with black patterned stockings and a pair of black lace-up high heeled boots, while she left her local “Trader Joe’s” store.
Do you like the new show? I haven’t even watched it.. so idk if she’s acting as a bad girl or not, I’m just assuming it because it’s the 90210. Correct me if I’m wrong.
